Hello Survivors!

Hi, I’m Inge and I’m a triple-negative inflammatory breast cancer survivor. I’m a survivor not because I’m cured, but because I’m still here to show up for the fight.

I started this conversation blog to help bring people together to share their stories, resources, and experiences. I’m going to MD Anderson in Houston, TX for treatment. They have the reputation for being one of the top cancer hospitals and research centers in the country. It’s a little bit of a trek driving down and back from Dallas, especially when I had to do that every week. But I’m glad to be here and feel I’m in good hands.

I’ve finished the core of my chemotherapy (24 weeks worth) and will be going in for surgery followed by radiation therapy over the next few months. I’ll also be continuing my immunotherapy regimen for the next several months.
